This Scholarship is offered by Lady TATA Memorial Trust for scientific Investigation which have a bearing directly or indirectly on the alleviation of Human suffering from disease . The Scholarship is of 3 types.
POST DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP:-
To be eligible for this Scholarship the candidate should bee less than 35 years of age, a PhD in Science or a MD/MS degree holder with 02 years of Research experience . The amount of Scholarship is Rs. 11,000/- Per Month in addition to a contingency grant of Rs. 10,000/- Per Annum.
SENIOR SCHOLARSHIP:-
The candidate should be less than 30 years of age and a Post Graduate with MD/MS degree or MSc in Science with 02 years of Research Experience. The amount of fellowship is Rs.9000/- Per Month in addition to a contingency grant of Rs. 7500/- Per Annum. Graduate in Medicine (MBBS) with completed Internship may also apply.
JUNIOR SCHOLARSHIP:-
Candidates having fresh MSc in Science or BSc with Distinction and 02 years of research experience under 27 years of age can apply. The amount of Scholarship is Rs.8000/- Per Month with a contingency grant of Rs.7500/- Per Annum.
Besides the above Scholarship grants and Contingency grant , Scholars doing research works in Institutes locating out side of their Permanent Residience will be entitled to get 10% of Scholarship value as their HRA.
