This Scholarship is provided by Rotary Foundation to the Professional those who could lead the world through Peace and Harmony. The Scholars those who could be selected for the Scholarship have to under go higher Studies at one of the 8 Rotary Centers World Wide and the Scholars will begin 02 Years Masters Level Degree Program in Conflict Resolution, Peace Studies and International Relations. The Scholarship includes Funding for Tuition and other fees, a monthly stipend for 21 Months of rooms and board based on the reasonable costs of Students living in the study area , round trip transportation between the Scholars Home and Study Cities at the start and the end of the scholarship period, a stipend to cover the costs of the books and supplies, thesis costs, costs associated with service obligations and other un-anticipated costs. Besides this a limited summer funding is also available to scholars to support degree related projects such as Internships, Volunteer works etc.
The no. of scholarship available is 70 per year. To be eligible the applicant must hold an earned Under Graduate degree from any accredited college or University of it’s International equivalence based on 4 years curriculum, having proficiency in a second language including the languages of the proposed host University, possess excellent leadership skills, demonstrate a commitment to peace and International Understanding through Service, Academic or Professional Achievements and holds a Citizenship in a country where there is a Rotary Club.
Applications must be made through a Rotary Club in the area of Applicants Legal or Permanent Residence or Place of Full Time Study or Employment . Rotarians, Honorary Rotarians, Employees of Rotary are not eligible for this scholarship.
