This scholarship is meant for the students of Orissa State only those who are studing in Post Graduate level in any Universities including OUAT also. And passed out their graduation from the same Universities and other Autonomous colleges. But this is not Applicable for Technological Students studing under BPUT. To be eligible for this scholarship the students must have continued his/her Post Graduation in which he/she has passed Graduation . The candidate should collect application forms from their respective Institution/Universities of Study. The amount of Scholarship is Rs 60/- P M for 2 years.

This Fellowship is provided by the Sanskrit Pratisthan to young Women for Investigation and research on any topic of Contemporary Relevance in Journalism. The purpose of this fellowship is to encourage young mid career women Journalists specially print Journalist to develop their potential by perusing meaning full projects without having to work under pressure of short dead lines. The fellowship carries a grant of Rs. 60,000/- which includes that of Travel expenses. The fellowship is applicable to Indian Women within the age group of 25 to 40 years of age.
The candidate has to execute the work/research project in Hindi/English or any regional languages. The fellow will be required to publish a stipulated no. of articles in established publications. The fellows may work on a book or monograph for subsequent publications within the given time frame.

This research fellowship is provided by PRIA (Society for Participatory Research inb Asia) a non profit Organisation engaged in Research and Action on the Theme of Citizenship, Participation and Governance. The fellowship is applicable for Researchers/NGO Practitioners / Social Activists based in the states of West Bengal/Orissa/Jharkhand/ Chhatisgarh/ Bihar only. The duration of the fellowship is 10 months only during which in the first 3 months the researcher will get a stipend of Rs 5500/- PM and for the last 7 months they will get Rs 8500/- PM . Besides this a contingency grant of Rs 4000/- P A will be given to them for purchase of Books and stationeries. The students/Applicants who are within the age of 30’s and should be a Post Graduate/ M Phil with a minimum of 55% marks in Sociology/ Political Science/ Social Work/ Social Anthropology can apply.
