This Scholarship is applicable for Indian Nationals for higher studies/Research/Specialised Training in the UK. To be eligible for this scholarship, the candidate must have complete tertiary education in English Medium only. The maximum number of Scholarship nominations are 55. the candidate has to apply at the beginning of the year before admission session approaches and preferably before 15th of October. This fellowship is provided by Common Wealth Secretariat, UK to permanent Faculty members working in the Universities/Colleges/Instituitions including Medical Institutions of India in any academic subjects including Medicine, Dentistry. The fellowship is for 6 months and not available for study towards higher degree. The candidate must be a Doctorate with at least 2 years of teaching experience as a staff member of a University or Similar Institute in India. The candidate below the age of 50 years should apply through their head of the Universities/Institutes recommended by Vice Chancellors/HODs/Registrar/Competent Authority.
