Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education invites application from Indian nationals for Nominations from India for the award of Common Wealth Scholarship tenable in United Kingdom from October 2009. Up to 60 Nominations out of which 35 for Masters Degree courses / 6 months clinical training and 25 for PhD Courses and 1 year research on split site basis nominations are to be sent to the common wealth scholarship commission for the final selection.
Candidates having MBBS, MS, MD certifications can apply for the above scholarships for undergoing Six Months clinical training / Research/Specialization in Cancer research, cardiology including Cardiac surgery, Gynecology, Medicine and Dentistry disciplines. Also candidates interested in One year taught Masters course or 3 year doctoral Degree or 1 year research on a split site basis towards a PhD registered at a university in Home country in the subjects of Electronics, Environmental studies, Remote sensing Technology, Communication Engineering, Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Robotics including artificial intelligence, Mathematics, Molecular Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Agronomy, Forestry, Sociology, Management Studies, Economics, Psychology, Computer Application, law, English, History, Philosophy, Political Science and International relations can apply.

Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) in association with Department of Science and Technology and Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, New Delhi invites applications from eligible students who are currently studying in I, II, IIIrd year of B.Sc / B.VSc, MBBS, B. Pharm, I, II year of M.Sc, Integrated M.Sc I-IV year, II, III year of B.E/ B.Tech and have secured not less than 80% marks in their 10th, 12th (10+2) and not less than First Class in Graduation/Post Graduation which ever is applicable.
The students selected under this fellowship will be placed with scientists at the centers else where in India for 2 Months with a stipend of Rs.5000/- P.M and travel support as per Govt. of India norms.
